"Into the Woods" at UCF Celebrates the Arts

April 7-14, 2017

UCF Celebrates the Arts is a multidisciplinary event bringing all different media to life. More than 1,000 students, teachers, and collaborative programs come together to bring theatre, dance, music, visual arts, gaming, animation, photography and film together in the Dr Phillips Center.


The Tableaux Vivant exhibits will be on display throughout the halls of the Dr Phillips Center. These Tableaux Vivant exhibits are famous paintings brought to life. The audience can interact and pose within the paintings and speak with the artists.


“Into the woods”, is a recreation of Grand Woods 1930s painting titled “American Gothic”, as created by the artist team of, Kealey Keepers, Madison Buettner, Angela Herron, Danielle Braun, Felipe Sanchez, and Nyala Maharaj. Creation included painting, makeup, wardrobe, and site installation.
